IAP Jaipur has launched the Rajasthan State Chapter of the Computers & Medical Electronics Group (CMEG) on 8th of October 2006
The current Secretary of IAP Jaipur Dr Ashutosh Jindal has been instrumental in setting it up.
Dr C P Bansal from Gwalior is the National Honorary Secretary of the Group.

The purpose and objectives of CMEG are :

To
educate the pediatricians about the use of computers in day to
day practice

Increase
the awareness towards computers and related topics

To
help developing proper software for a pediatrician's practice
and to evaluate the current available software

To
promote and encourage use of the Internet in Continuous Medical
Education (CME)
