I
learnt the allure of a second love and did so in
time. Lucky for me.
For
close to a decade and a half I chased my
profession and did so blindly. I clothed it in
devotion, dedication, mission, zeal,
career furtherance…..
Love,
they say, is blind.
I
feel it is the fool in love who is blind.
My
father ( God bless his soul. He is no more )
oversaw me with an expression spanning a
bewildering range of emotions. Amusement,
distrust, dismay, forgiving…………and
disgust.
Then
one fine day providence made me just kick it
all.
I
now learnt the value of going out socially,
reading and reading like a maniac, listening to
choicest Hindustani classical music. I savour
every note, swirl every inflection, rise and
fall with the music. I get clutched in the Gandharv
orgasm.
I
now have cognac with my ears !
Please,
all of you, develop a hobby and then follow it
with as much passion as you follow your
profession.
For,
when the profession ceases to satiate your soul,
none else may come to rescue your higher
consciousness.
The
Time magazine has a nice punch line –
Understanding comes with
TIME !
The
time has come for all of us. No matter whether
you are a decade older or a decade younger. For
you may have just a few more decades to go.
Pamper
your hobby more than you may pamper the
profession. Shower all affection and gifts on
the second love and see the magic !
And
also be sure, when you are in trouble yourself,
none may come to ask about your welfare. None
for the lost sleep, missed
meals, missed holidays.
Laxmi
must be earned. More importantly, you have to
learn the skill of its bhog . Only then
are you a complete man.

I
A P JAIPUR’S WEBSITE
–
www.iapjaipur.org
The proposed
site is now up.It is still quite incomplete and
one wonders when we shall be able to say it is
complete. The dynamicity of websites perhaps
precludes this.
Refinement,updation
and ensuring currency of content takes time and
we hope you shall allot us some time to do so.
We have engaged M/S Technoedge,Jaipur
for the Site development and maintenance.
This process is sure to get greatly facilitated
through your active involvement. If you can not
contribute much by means of content, please do us
the favour of giving feedback and comments .
Your specific contribution is needed in the
following areas:
q Please
send in your completed data so that we may have
a completely current and accurate database of
members
q Preferably
do it on the site so that updation is instant.
q Please
do send in a photograph (
recent,coloured,passport ) either through e
mail
or by post. You may be left out on the site if
you do not.Surely, you do not want to be the odd
one out.

send in your recent achievements by email
q An
ever standing request. Please do send in material
for publication either in
Pedia Media or online.
